Alderaan

Ha, this one gets blown up in the later movies, but for now, it's safe. Alderaan is a peaceful and beautiful planet, the galactic hub for fine arts and education. It is a lush planet, teeming with wildlife and unspoiled beauty.

Bespin

Bespin is a large gas planet, most of which contains toxic gases. However, for those who had enough money and enough guts, you could stay in Cloud City, a series of platforms held up by thin supports. It is known for it's luxury and many guests like the way being on the platforms feels like floating above the clouds.

Coruscant

Coruscant is the Star Wars equivalent of New York City. It is covered with cities and filled with beings from around the galaxy. High to middle class beings usually live on the Upper levels, while the Lower levels are infamous for the high crime and murder rate.

Dagobah

Dagobah is pretty much a giant swamp with practically no sentient life. There is, however, plenty of plant and animal life.

Endor

Excuse me, I have to get something out of my system... EEEEEEEEWWWWOOOOOOKKKSSS! Ewoks are the main sentient species that live there and they resemble evil-looking teddy bears. Google them. Endor is covered in lush forest.

Felucia

Felucia is covered in forests, filled with flesh-eating bacteria, man-eating beasts, and carnivorous fungi. It becomes a major stronghold for the CIS (for those of you who aren't fluent in Star Wars, the CIS are the robot guys who try and kill the clones).

Geonosis

Geonosis is covered by red deserts and is inhabited by Geonosians. Picture human-sized bugs that stand on two legs and carry weapons and you've got a Geonosian. This is where the Mandalorian warrior, Jango Fett died *sobs*

Hoth

Hoth is pretty much a giant snowball, inhabited mainly by wampas (picture llamas that stand on two legs) and wampas (picture abominable snowman). As the not-so-wise Han Solo once remarked, ""There isn't enough life on this ice cube to fill a space cruiser!"

Kamino

Kamino is covered by water, with cities of platforms above the sea. Kamino is where the clones come from. The clones are made by cloners called Kaminoans (http://www.cgtalk.ru/articles/sw/images/kaminoans_bg.jpg) They may look gentle, but they are (in my opinion, anyways) pure evil. They kill clone children if they aren't up to standards and make clones go through torturous training. Many clones die during training. I better stop ranting or I won't have enough room for the other planets.

Kashyyk

Kashyyk is a rugged planet, covered with forests and mountains. It is the home planet of Wookiees, large, hairy, and hugely strong sentients.

Naboo

Picture Earth, but prettier and without global warming. This is the home planet of the Gungans, though humans have settled there also.

Mustafar

Mustafar is a volcanic, unstable, volcanic planet, mostly valued for mining. The conditions are very dangerous.
